Brand new data from last night’s board work session. 16,000+ respondents, closely matching the demographics of the district, with OVERWHELMING support of the program.

Approval numbers have risen, with approvals around 8:1 for vs against uniformed officers in schools. I have the session embedded below, starting at 5:21. If a school board member ignores the overwhelming will of their constituents, whom they claim to listen to and care for, that highlights their own personal agendas and biases.

I am PROUDLY endorsed by the Beaverton Police Association, not only due to my understanding and support of the YSO program, but because I will act on what students, staff and the community think is best…. not what will please outside groups!

When you look at who has voted “no” and spoken against YSO’s, and who they are endorsing across these board races, the choice should be more clarity to who will actually represent our community.
